The project
I was asked to make an app that would allow someone to purchase everything they would in person through the app so that they can save time and skip waiting in line. That said, the app’s main focus is offering a complete theater experience on the go, minus the actual movies.
The six users that I interviewed all had various opinions on what features a mobile ticketing app should have, but the common requests are: a way to order tickets and concessions ahead of time, the ability to select their seats, incentives to use an app, and a way to see details about a movie - e.g. ,review scores, what locals are saying, and whether or not a movie is still in the trailers or actually playing.

This project taught me that users want convenience and that means that an app needs to be easy to navigate, informative, and full of options.
